How we are paid

Addis Ababa Layover Tours may earn a commission when you book through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the price the operator sets. We are paid by the booking platform out of its own margin, and nothing on this page changes what appears on your card.

What we are not

• We are not a tour operator. Every tour on this site is run by an independent company, named on its own card.
• We are not the ticketing authority for any museum, church or monument in Addis Ababa.
• We are not Ethiopian Airlines, Ethiopian Airports Enterprise or any part of the Ethiopian government.
• We are not able to change, move or cancel your booking. That is between you and the operator.

Which platforms we link to

Tours on this site are booked through Viator and GetYourGuide, and each card links the platform its operator sells through. Both carry the operator's own description, price, rating and cancellation terms, and those are the figures reproduced here.

How tours get onto this page

Operators cannot pay for placement, position or a badge. The order of the cards is set by rating and review volume, and the three featured at the top were chosen so that no two of them do the same job. A badge such as best seller or best value is a claim that can be checked against the figures in the table on the reviews page.

About the figures

Prices, ratings, review counts, durations and inclusions belong to the operators and change without notice. They were captured on 28 August 2026 and are indicative rather than a quotation; the live listing is always the authority on what you will pay. Entry rules are set by the Ethiopian Immigration and Citizenship Service and can change at any time.
